I tried a new product yesterday, Purex Crystal Softener. As you know here in South Texas we have wonderful water, BUT, very hard water. With this product you put it in your wash tub as your starting the water, before any clothes. As the crystals dissolve they soften the water and infuse the it with scent, in my case Lavender. You still have to add detergent but no fabric softener.Loved it! I washed my bed sheets. They came out of the dryer with a soft scent of Lavender. And as I snuggled down in for the night I was lulled off with the sweet scent.
