Shoes, shoes and more shoes

What is it about shoes that women love??!! I guess I will have to analyze that and come up with an answer. Or is there an answer??




We NEED to have shoes for different occasions. And it's even important to dress nice when you go to Walmart!! Oh my have you seen the website www.peopleofwalmart.com, it takes a strong stomach to look at this train wreck of a site. What are people thinking.
Always look in the mirror before you leave the house, and especially look at a rear view image!! And no underwear are not acceptable as outerwear. How did I get here from Shoes??!! Oh well.

And this was the only blurb about it. I always seem to find these neat things before they really hit the mass market. And I end up paying a premium for them.

New Project - Scarf

Hopfully the cooler weather will make it's way down here to South Texas soon! We did finally get some rain, which made the grass nice and green.
Well, an email popped in my box today and this little puppy was featured. So the "I can do that!" thought popped in my head.

I got a new CD the other day Harry Connick Jr's "Your Songs" I have listened to it every day this week as I prepare to start my day. This is the CD to play when you want a "romantic" night with the hubby. It is very mellow and relaxing. With classic songs like "All the Way", "The Way You Look Tonight" and of course "Your Song". You can never go wrong with a little Harry.

Shoes again

As fall approches. It's time for new shoes!! I sure don't have as many fall/winter type shoes as I have summer shoes. I think it's the price. But I have my eye on these. I saw them the other day at the Clark store in North Star Mall and instantly fell in love with them. I have had my "classic" black Aerosoles for seveal years. So I think it's time for a new "classic

Exciting things

Life marches on. Thank God for the day to day stuff! I can't begin to tell you how good He is! How much he cares for the little things in our lives.

The other day I needed to go to the grocery store. I couldn't go to my usual Wal-mart because the road was closed. So I went to one a little farther away, one that I used to go to when we lived in the country.

While there I saw and old neighbor. I greeted him and the kids. He is a teacher at EC. I mentioned to him that I was looking for an Interact sponsor. And if he knew of anyone that might be interested to let me know. (I was getting very discouraged at this point, school had started) He replied "that would be me". I was so blown away that here was this person that I knew, at a different grocery store, and we just happened to run into each other at the right time. GOD your SO good to me!! Nothing is to big for God that he can't make the circumstances work out just right!
