New Purse

So I got this in the mail today. Yea Me. I got it with some bonus points I had at work. What made it even sweeter was that I saw it in the store and really liked it, but there was no way I would spend that much on a purse. Maybe a good pair of shoes but not a purse. And this way it was FREE!!!!!!!!!!

Proud Parent Time

Last night DD was inducted into the National Junior Honor Society! Since this was her first year in this school she didn't get in on it in 7th grade. Oh well better late than never! On to (gulp) High School!!

You gotta love Mike!!!

Huckabee was my choice in 2008!!! You people should learn to listen to me! We wouldn't be in as much trouble today if you had!
Onwards Huckabee in 2012!
KLUP has been advertising a meeting for "Obamas first 100 days" Hasn't it already been like 100 years!

Crock Pots

I have been wanting a new Crock Pot. And I almost bought one at Sam's the other day, but it wasn't what I really wanted. So yesterday I was in WalMart and found this lovely.

Typical of Walmart the advertised price was $39.88, but when I went to take it off the shelf the shelf tag said $29.88. So guess what it rang up? Suprise $29.88!! (It was the last one on the shelf)
I love this one it is 6 qts, has a connected lid (that you can disconnect) and it's programmable. At the end of the programmed time it automatically changes to warm. Of course you can remove the pot for easy washing and the lid also secures for easy transporting.

I saw this lady on GMA the other day check out her website for tons of Crock Pot recipes http://crockpot365.blogspot.com/
I love to fix dinner in the AM so it's ready when I come home in the PM!!
